There are two primary factors driving society's divergence from truth. The first factor is one I attempt to remedy in my poetry by attempting to liberate consciousness from its own illusion.
The second factor is money: What we use as money (debt) drives and facilitates so many of the ills that plague our society today: mindless rampant debt-fueled consumerism, wars fought in order to support the dollar, political corruption and corporatism etc.
These two videos explain the structure of our fiat currency -the world reserve currency and the currency you have to own if you want to buy oil (unless you're buying it from Iran, but don't worry, Obama will make sure to change that).
